Guadalupe Romero was born July, 23, 1958 in Mexicali, Mexico. She passed away after a long battle with Cancer surrounded by her loving family on November 7, 2022 in Clovis, California. She was 64 years old. She was the oldest of 9 children and was raised in Los Angeles, CA. She was affectionately known by her family as “Gorda” and she loved to dance and spending time with her friends and family. She was a wonderful cook, she was sweet, funny and very sassy. She was full of life and had so much love to give and always welcoming everyone in her home. She is survived by her husband Enrique Villasenor of 45 years of marriage and children Enrique, Jessica, Debbie, Christopher & Nicholas and her grandchildren, Christela, Christopher Jr. and Lonnie IV. She is also survived by her mother Rosa Maria Rodriguez and father Alfonso Romero and her brothers and sisters; Bertha Muro, Alfonso Romero, Monica Owens, Susan Fuentes, Israel Romero, Victor Romero, Jackie Perez, Walter Romero and several nieces and nephews. In her last days, she proclaimed the name of Jesus and walked with God. Her favorite scripture was Psalms 23: 1-6 “The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the path of righteousness For his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.” There is no doubt in our minds that she is dancing in heaven and praising Jesus. Knowing that she is no longer in any pain and suffering brings our family great peace. We miss you so much our beloved mother, daughter, sister, tia and friend.
