Anthony Carrillo was born March 26, 1982 in Sanger, CA passed away on October 11, 2022 in Fresno, Ca at the age of 40. Anthony was a very hard worker and took on the hardest physical jobs available working in construction, paving and in the earthmoving field. Anthony also worked in the chrome and plating field for 23 years doing demolition, rebar and general labor with various companies in Clovis and Fresno. His all-time favorite job was working at Skookum Trees (Blackstone and Shaw) for 18 years as lot attendant and loader. Anthony loved seeing his regular customers every Christmas season. He spent his extra time helping with several community events; car washes, feeding the homeless and he enjoyed volunteering as a soccer coach and at his children’s elementary school and being part of the PTA at Tarpey Elementary. His passion and love was for his wife and kids, he enjoyed spending family days by taking spontaneous trips to his favorite place, Pismo Beach. Anthony always made sure that every holiday, his favorite being Christmas and birthdays were celebrated and special for each one. He enjoyed spending time visiting extended family and attending holiday celebrations where he always was the clown making everyone laugh (if you heard the chicken story you knew Anthony), he enjoyed running around helping. Anthony had a very tough/mean exterior look and would be difficult to deal with at times, however as big as he was, at the bottom of it all he was a huge sensitive emotional giant with a soft heart, especially for children and his Princess and light of his life Miranda. If you knew Anthony’s true heart, you loved him and knew he was truly one of a kind. Anthony had some issues and difficult times the last few years of his life, but he never stopped loving his family and made it known to everyone how much he wanted to be home with his wife and kids. While he was battling his own difficulties and was struggling on his own, he would still hand over the little he had to someone who he felt needed it more. Anthony touched so many lives and leaves many memories with his family and friends. He will truly be missed by them all. Anthony was a believer and knew the Lord and never stopped believing. He is preceded in death by his nephew Joshua Carrillo and his Grandma Mary. He is survived by his partner, wife of 23 years Jesenia Medina Carrillo of Clovis, CA his five children; daughter Yesenia A. Medina-Munoz (27) of Clovis, CA, son Domenique E. Carrillo (20) of Clovis, CA, daughter Nicole M. Castro (19) of Fresno, CA, son Anthony “Tony” J. Carrillo (15) of Clovis, CA, daughter Miranda Y. Carrillo (13) of Clovis, CA,; his parents Diego Carrillo and Sandra K. Carrillo of Fresno, CA; his sister Monica of Fresno, CA; brothers Diego III and Joseph of Fresno, CA; Grandfather Diego Carrillo Sr; Fresno, CA, Grandmother Sally Lara Fresno, CA, Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Luis and Ramona Martinez Clovis, CA; 13 living nieces and nephews, several aunts, uncles, cousins and great aunts. “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.” Psalm 73:23 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."
