Bonnie was born on July 11, 1941 at their home in Lewistown, Pa., to Richard & Ruth Rothwell. She passed away on December 16, 2015, in Fresno, Ca, after a bout with breast cancer. She was BRCA2 positive; her cancer was genetic. Her mother, several Aunts, & many relatives have battled & or died from cancer. She worked as an apartment manager for about the last 35 years, with the last 10 plus years at the Willow Lakes Apartments, Clovis, Ca., 214 units. She started her career in apartment management, with her husband George, in Modesto, Ca., about 1980, with Vandenburg Inc., were they were trained. Their first complex was in Stockton, Ca., The Lanai Apartments, 52 units, they were there less than 6 months, when they were promoted to a larger complex, The Stardust Villa Apartments, in Modesto, Ca. with 110 units, 1981, were they also started training new managers for the company too. Then they were promoted again, in 1984, to open a brand new complex being built in Fresno, Ca., the Silk Oak Apartments, about 348 units, which they filled up, & were there for 8 years. Then they went to a different Co. & went to Lakeside Apartments, Fresno, Ca. , for 2 years. Then to Camelot., about 1993-94, where she also divorced George. Later to Willow Cove, in Turlock, Ca., Back to Modesto with RSI. Then back to Fresno, at a few different complexes, then to Willow Lakes, for about 2 years, quit, .... then Village at 9th, then Parkway Village for over 1 year, then back to Willow Lakes, Clovis, Ca., where she worked up to her passing. Yes, she worked despite the cancer, & with all the pain & with minimal medication. Bonnie was an outstanding Apartment Manager, extremely dedicated, & took very good care of her tenants. Her last complex had 7 different addresses, and she knew who lived where, their names, what was going on with repairs, etc.... just off the top of her head. She was very talented, and was always at work in her office. She always worked closely with the police department too. Before apartment management, Bonnie was a Cosmetologist in the borough of Madison, Pa., where her husband turned their dining room into her beauty shop, called Bonnie's Glamour & Wig Salon, from 1965-1980. She was an awesome beautician, & people would come to her shop, from miles & miles & miles away. Bonnie is survived by her 4 children; Terry G. Trout Sr. (Clovis, Ca.), Kerry Shawn Trout (Greensburg, Pa.), Lisa Damm (Jacobs Creek, Pa.), & Tammy M. Trout (Fresno, Ca.). Also 8 Grandchildren & 10 Great Grandchildren, plus 1 due in July 2016. A Brother, Richard R. Rothwell, retired Major from the Air Force (Fontana, Ca.). And many nieces, nephews and extended family.
