Chinh Huynh - Obituary Chinh Huynh passed on from this world at the age of 42 in his home in Fresno, CA on December 29th, 2023. He was born to his surviving parents Chau Huynh and Hong Truong-Huynh in Wichita, KS on January 8th, 1981. His formative years were spent in a unique manner growing up with not just his siblings, but along with his cousins in Gulfport, MS and subsequently, Fresno, CA. There was rarely a time where he and the other eight children of this group could not be seen together and likely, causing some type of juvenile mischief. He attended Bullard High School, excelling in sports and academics. Chinh graduated as a varsity track and wrestling athlete on top of being designated with the honor of Summa Cum Laude in 1999. He went on to be the first of his entire family to attend a four-year university and obtain a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. His career as a Mechanical Engineer was short-lived due to a tragic car accident in 2006 that left him with limited mobility and ongoing medical complications. Despite those hardships, Chinh found joy and purpose in life through being present and engaged for all of the events in the lives of his loved ones, major and minor. His enthusiasm for life often revolved around his appetite for good food and drink. There was no restaurant or coffee shop that Chinh wasn’t willing to try in his constant quest to experience new flavors. He was a beer maven and loved to support smaller brewers. Chinh had an even greater love for sports. Most importantly, he was an unwavering fan of his favorite NFL Football team, the San Diego (now LA) Chargers. He was so positive his team would find a way to experience the worst outcome, yet he was always there cheering them on. All of Chinh’s interests and passions had a singular uniting element in that they always revolved around shared experience with loved ones. He had an uncanny ability to create a genuine connection with anyone who came into his life. His ability really shined with the love he had for his nieces and nephews. Chinh’s immeasurable, positive impact is evident in all who love him as they all honor him by living life to the fullest. Aside from his parents, Chinh is survived by Chuong Huynh, Daniel Huynh, Tu Tran, Vy Huynh, Max Huynh, Thien Huynh, Joy Vorakoumane, Jubilee Huynh, Phoenix Huynh, Charlotte Hyynh, Wade Huynh, Tam Huynh, Gina Huynh, Jaz Huynh, Camila Huynh, Miles Huynh, Trung Huynh, Paula Huynh, Kairi Huynh, Le Huynh, Bobby Huynh, Vuong Nguyen, and countless additional friends and family. Visitation will be held at the Chapel of The Light on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 from 6:00PM-8:00PM.
