Dennis M. Lopez Jr, was born in French Camp, California to parents Cheryl Avila and Dennis Lopez. He attended elementary school at Venezuela Dual Immersion and French Camp. He graduated from East Union High School in Manteca in 2005. Dennis furthered his education and graduated from San Joaquin Delta College with his A.A and attended classes at Cal State Stanislaus. Dennis loved his first job at Kentucky Fried Chicken through high school. However, it wasn't long until he found his forever home at Costco. Beginning in 2005, he was devoted employee and worked his way up to Morning Merchandising Supervisor. Dennis enjoyed vacations with his family. He was a season pass holder at Disneyland where he pride himself as a Disney adult. Dennis was an avid gamer, often be found in his room playing video games; once old enough, his daughters loved to game with him. Dennis enjoyed attending 49er games in San Francisco and multiple genres of live concerts. He loved barbecuing for his family - Tomahawk steaks were his specialty. Dennis loved to spend time with his two daughters, 8 year old Aria Everly Lopez and 5 year old Avianna Rae Lopez. They enjoyed many family outings together, but Dennis’ favorite pastime was dancing at home with his two little girls. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Tony Garcia Jr., Maudie Alice Garcia, and Albert Lopez Sr. Dennis is survived by parents Cheryl and Arthur Avila, and Dennis Lopez Sr.; a brother Dominic “Iggy” Lopez; his children Aria Everly Lopez and Avianna Rae Lopez; his girlfriend DeAnna Merlos; and his grandmother, Eleanor Lopez. He will also be missed by his aunts Kimberly Vega and Ruth “cookie” Andlon; his uncles Anthony Garcia Jr, Dean Garcia, Rogelio Vega, William “Billy” Shenck, Keith Lopez, Albert Lopez and Garrett Lopez; Step brothers and sisters, Linda Smith, Angelica McKee, Casandra Strong, Michelle Arinaga, Peter Arinaga, Mark Marquez, and many cousins, extended family members and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park in the Grace Pavilion on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Committal will follow in the Garden of Freedom. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Elegance Banquet Facility at 23 W. Elm Street, Lodi, CA 95240.
