Gregorio Rodriguez was born to the late Gregorio and Emerita Rodriguez Sr on July 8 1951 in The Bronx, New York. Greg was a member of St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Long Island City where he was an Altar boy, also attending school there until graduating from the eighth grade, then attending Long Island City High School. From his neighborhood he formed the band Orchestra Rodriguez, playing guitar and, key broads and served as their musical director. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force from 1971 until 1976. Greg was honorably discharged as a Sergeant of the United States Air Force of the United States of America. Soon after, Greg relocated to Beale Air Force Base near Marysville CA where he served his final two years for the United States Armed Forces Reserves. He then relocated to the Silicon Valley where Greg began his career in electronics. In 1979 he met Robin Guyton and was married on March 18, 1982. There were two children brought into this union, Andre Marcus Rodriguez Sr. and Brian Andre Christian Sr. In 1980 he begin his career at Memorex as a quality assurance technician where he stayed until 1994. Greg and Robin purchased their first home in San Jose, Ca living there for sixteen years, working and raising their boys there, in 2001 they sold their home and relocated to Fresno, Ca living and working until their retirement. Greg had an incredibly kind spirit was deeply devoted to God, his wife, family and friends. Greg thoroughly enjoyed his life and his family; playing his piano, vacationing, attending concerts and gardening alongside his wife. All the while mentoring his sons and nephews, he would often share nurturing advice with nieces and even offer a joke and a smile to people throughout his community. Gregorio is survived by his loving wife Robin, his sons Andre Rodriguez and Brian Christian, brother; Robert Rodriguez, Daughter-in-laws Michelle Meeks Christian and Nicole Lamus, grandchildren Destini Clemons, Brian Christian Jr. and Andre Rodriguez Jr.. Sister-in-laws Valeria L Guyton, Toni K Guyton, Katherine B Guyton and Sherrie A Allen. Brother-in-law Terrance A Allen Anita R Manning niece/daughter, nieces Shawn Manning, Leah Batty, Porscha Thompson, Tasha Allen and Andrea Fields. Nephews Jameil Haddad, Lee Robinson, Anthony Bishop and Terrance Allen Jr. A extended loving family and a host of friends that he has known and loved for years.
