Karmen was born on December 3, 1970, in Coalcomán, Michoacán, Mexico, where she grew up surrounded by the warmth of family and the beauty of her faith. As a sister, she was a source of endless support and joy, always ready with a listening ear and a kind word. Her bond with her siblings was unbreakable, and she cherished every moment spent with them. As a mother, Karmen's love knew no bounds. She dedicated her life to nurturing and guiding her children, instilling in them the values of compassion, integrity, and perseverance. Her children, Angel and Abigail, were her pride and joy, and she found immense fulfillment in their achievements and happiness. Karmen's faith was the cornerstone of her life. A devoted Christian, she lived her beliefs every day, offering her time and talents to her church and community. Her faith provided her with strength and comfort, especially in times of hardship, and she inspired those around her with her unwavering trust in God's plan. She is survived by her husband Alejo, her children, Angel and Abigail; her siblings, Lupe, Juan, Socorro, Teresa, Mariluz, and Miguel; Ofelia, Beto, Gerardo, David, and Leobardo. and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service to honor Karmen's life will be held on August 8, 2024, at Chapel of the Light, with a viewing beginning at 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the family to cover the funeral and burial costs.
