Ruben Negrete

With great sadness and broken hearts, we announce the departure of our loving Brother, Ruben Negrete, 64 yrs old. He went home to be with the Lord on July 6, 2022, surrounded by his loving family in Fresno, California. Ruben was born on July 13, 1957, to Ruben Sr. and Julia Aguilar Negrete. His precious Mother, Julia Aguilar Negrete, and Brother Robert George Negrete preceded him in death. Survied by his father Ruben Salgado Negrete. His loving Sisters; are Mary Paula Negrete, Ramona Negrete, and Julie Marie Negrete. His half-siblings; are Ricardo Negrete, Raquel Negrete, and Jorge Negrete. His Nephews and Nieces; James Black, Anthony Gomez, Jose Ordaz, Rebecca Rivera, Corina Lozoya, Elena Tejeda, Vanessa Ordaz, and Marissa Ordaz. As well as many Great Nephews and Nieces. Ruben was the Godfather to Antonio Jr. (Tony) Aguilar and Rafael Jr. Aguilar. He also leaves behind his loving best friend, (dog) known as Monsta. While growing up, Ruben developed a passion for animals, especially birds. During his teen years, he worked at the Fresno Discovery Center Museum, caring for different animal species. He also admired marine life, wildlife, and watching eagles soar in the sky: home builder and creative design. Ruben was intrigued by the mysterious creation of the universe And human life’s biological and cultural aspects. More than anything, he loved and was devoted to his family. Furthermore, he enjoyed family gatherings, making us laugh with his rhymes and impressions of animal sounds. Ruben had a great sense of humor, and we will miss him very much for his love, benevolence, and generosity. Meanwhile, we will weep many tears for years because you were so dear and near. Mama and little brother Bobby are now with you in heaven with big hugs and kisses. Thank you for protecting us over the years and loving us with all your heart. Our brother believed in the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them Do unto you." We will never forget his sincerity and generosity. Until we meet again, forever in our hearts. Your legacy and memories of you will be deeply cherished and never forgotten.
