Eddie Martinez, 81. He was a Loving and Life Long Companion to Mary Garcia of 53 years. He was proud to be a father, grandfather, and brother. He peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on May 4, 2022 in Fresno, Ca. Eddie was born to Lupe Perez and Catalino Martinez in Riverside, Ca. June 22,1940. He was loved by so many and had a laugh with a sense of humor that could light up a room. His passion for car's showed through his work as an autobody painter for over 40 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Catalino and Lupe Martinez; his siblings Mike Martinez, Gilbert Martinez, George Martinez, Gloria Casteneda, and Isabel Rodriguez; his son, Eddie M. Martinez and his grandchildren, Eddie Martinez, Michael (Mikey) Martinez, and Eliana Martinez. He will be greatly missed by his children Jon Martinez and wife Stacy, Rachelle Rendon and her husband Anthony, and Eric Garcia. He leaves behind his beloved 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. Siblings Mary De La Pena and Robert Martinez. As well as countless nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life and Rosary to be held at Chapel of the Light Funeral Home.
