December 17, 1967 - November 25, 2021
Jimmy Thompson passed away Thursday, November 25th, 2021, in Fresno, California. Mr. Thompson was born James Raymond Thompson Jr. in 1967. Jimmy was an avid comic book collector, book reader and liked to doodle in comic art or do a word search puzzle. Jimmy loved seeing the movies on the big screen and simply hanging out and going to the gym. Jimmy loved friends and family and worked at the family owned Sno-White Drive-in fast food restaurant in Clovis, CA for most of his life. Jimmy had a hard life to say the least, he got cancer in elementary school, his parents divorced when he was young. His mom passed away in his later years and soon after his partner/husband passed away abruptly as well. Because of the early on cancer and the harsh chemotherapy treatments at that time, Jimmy’s body slowly broke down year by year, day by day, hour by hour, second by second. Despite all of that, Jimmy stood strong and moved forward with life. However there was a dark time in his life after his husband passed away, and then there was the pandemic, but he got through it with friends and family and looked to the brighter things in life, like he was teaching his brother Jason’s first son about animation drawing, looking forward to seeing Jason and his kids visit, waiting for the holiday’s so he could see other family members and socialize. Jimmy was a strong soul, but had a weakened body that lead to his untimely passing. We will all miss him greatly as he did impact a lot of people in his lifetime and so we hope that he will have peace with his mom and husband now. Jimmy is survived by his three siblings, Jason, Kevin & Kimberly, his Father Jim and stepmom Lauri. Also his mother Teresa, passed in 2013, his husband Thomas, passed in 2017.
