Martina Benavides
February 4, 1953 - December 19, 2020
Martina Benavides aka Martha was born on February 4, 1953 and made her way to the gates of Heaven on December 19,2020. She was a wonderful daughter, sister of 7 siblings, mother of two sons, Tia/aunty/second mother of 18 nieces & nephews, grandmother of 5 gorgeous grandchildren and best friend to many. Martha was not no ordinary woman. She is unforgettable. She would make each and every person in the room laugh by just being herself. One thing about her is that she did not have to try to be funny, she just was. She also created the family legacy of the flying splits. That was Martha. Although she was hilarious, she also had a soft side to her. She was a natural caregiver. She was tender, loving and was always taking care of everyone in anyway possible. The love she poured out just made you love her that much more because you knew when you stepped foot in her house it was no longer her house it was a home. A home you could go to at any time. When you were with her you felt safe. She was a person who would wash all your worries away. Martha(grandma) your legacy of love will live on forever. To all family, friends and loved ones remember because someone we love is in heaven, there’s a little bit of heaven in our home. Goodbyes are not forever; goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you until we meet again. Due to Covid19 please contact the family
