Patricia Louise Tremp - September 30, 1927 - Patricia “Pat” Tremp, 94, of Fresno, CA, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family on, May 16,. 2022 Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Lee Tremp, She is survived by her brother William Blanchard of Edmonton, Canada, her children, David Pepitone, Deborah Sherfield and her husband Steve, Mark Tremp and his wife Tanya, and Lesley Schmidt and her husband Patrick. She leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicholas, RaeAnna, John, Amanda, Thomas, Andrew and David. She leaves behind 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Patricia spent her early years living in Isleton on the Sacramento Delta. After graduating from McClatchy High School, Patricia started working as a draftswoman for PacBell in Sacramento, where she met her future husband, LeRoy Tremp. After the birth of their first child, David, the family moved to the Fresno/Fowler area, which became home. Patricia dedicated her life to loving God and her family. Her passion for kids led her to return to school for a degree in Child Development, with a teaching credential in the early to mid 70s. Patricia loved kids, and devoted much of her life teaching them and making her home a place for fun or a safe haven for those in need. She worked with the church youth group, opening her home, lending the property for a place to build parade floats and going on youth retreats. Her policy was an open door for kids of all ages. In her 70s, she continued to mentor kids at risk, in tutoring them in reading and english. Patricia demonstrated a life of faith and love to her family, friends, and everyone she met in her life journey. She exemplified a life of faith and courage with some of the hardships endured through life, including a world wide depression and a world war. She was a champion of learning. Patricia always shared her faith, salvation and her personal relationship with Jesus to others. She would want to share that He saved her, has a personal relationship with Him and is with Him celebrating eternal life today, and she wants everyone to know about this free and wonderful gift of love, available to all who seek it. Her family honored her requests for a private family service.
