Ruben Romero Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ruben Romero was born on July 2, 1990 in Fresno, California and went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2020. Our beloved son, father, brother, uncle was tragically taken from injuries sustained in a car accident. His son Ryden Romero was the love of his life. Ruben’s smile, personality, and love for life brought joy to all. Morning Starbucks, fishing with his son and buddies, taking Snaps, being with family and friends were his passion. Ruben attended Mendota and Kerman schools, Fresno City College and mechanic trade schools. He was a mechanic by trade for 8 years of his life and was employed at MEI Marthedal Enterprises, Inc. Ruben is much loved and will be greatly missed. We are honored to have shared 30 years of his life. He is gone, but not forgotten. Rest in peace mijo. We love you. Ruben is survived by son Ryden Rocky Romero, father Carlos Romero, mother Yolanda Cantu, stepmother Cathie Romero, brothers Carlos Jr., Luciano (Chano) Romero, and Ricky Romero. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Deedee and Maria, grandmothers Marta Cantu and many beloved nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and Dad’s Lulu. He was also proceeded in death by grandparents Teodoro Cantu, Luciano Romero, and Sara Gonzalez.
