Teresa Almaguer from Fresno was born Teresa Colunga in Harlingen, Texas on November 14, 1930, and passed away in Clovis on January 19, 2022. She was the daughter of Lalo and Petra Colunga. Teresa is survived by her children and their spouses, Tony and Heike Almaguer of Chowchilla, Lydia and James Neves Sr., Angel and Diana Almaguer Jr., Eddie and Ramona Almaguer, David and Delia Perez and Stephanie Almaguer all from Fresno. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alejandro Perez and her children, Rafaela Gutierrez, and Santos Almaguer. Teresa had eighteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. She took immense pride in her family. She enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, camping, telling jokes, making tamales, and loved Walmart trips. We know that we cannot have you back, but we are happy knowing that Angels surround you, and you are in the arms of God in paradise.
