In Loving Memory Of AJ Labra Jr. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved AJ, who was tragically taken from us far too soon at the age of 19. AJ lost his life in a devastating car accident caused by a drunk driver- someone he trusted as a friend. His sudden departure has left our hearts shattered, but his light will never fade. AJ was a soul full of love, kindness, and joy. He has an infectious smile that makes everyone feel welcomed, always greeting his family-especially his mother, Delilah-with the tightest hugs and most heartfelt “I love yous.” Their bond was unbreakable, a love that could withstand all obstacles. Delilah cherished every Saturday when her baby boy would come lay his head on her stomach, a simple but powerful reminder of their deep connection. A devoted son, soon-to-be father, and cherished friend, AJ was eagerly preparing to welcome his child with his loving girlfriend, Mya, who is 6 months pregnant. He told his nina that he knew his unborn baby boy was a gift from God and that he was going to be the best dad ever. His excitement for fatherhood was undeniable, and he was ready to pour all the love in his heart into his son. AJ was also a loving brother to his sister, Brianna, and his brothers, Joseph and Celo. He shared a special bond with his father, Robert, and their love and guidance helped shape the incredible young man he became. AJ had a strong work ethic and a passion for life. Whether he was rebuilding his beloved Mustang, exploring nature, or simply sharing laughs with those around him, his presence was a source of joy. His sense of humor, goofiness and warmth made him unforgettable to everyone who has the privilege of knowing him. Our hearts are broken as we try to comprehend this tragic loss. AJ was Deliliahs baby boy, her light, her joy, her life. Though his time with us was cut far too short, his love will remain with us forever. AJ is survived by his mother, Delilah; his father, Robert; his girlfriend Mya; his unborn son, AJ; his siblings, Brianna, Joseph and Celo; and a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. Though he is no longer physically with us, AJ’s love and spirit will live on in our hearts forever. A visitation will be held Thursday April 10th, 2025 at Mountain View Church from 12pm-1pm with a Funeral Service at 1pm. A reception will follow to celebrate AJ’s life at the Palomino event Center at 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
