Angelina Sanchez Alonzo known to us as Angie Alonzo born to Francisco Sanchez and Nazaria Reza Sanchez on January 18th 1948. The youngest of eleven children. She is survived by brothers, Richard Sanchez and Jesse Sanchez and sisters, Rosie Lopez, and Esther Olivarez. Preceded in Death are Eulalia “Lala” Valle, William R. Sanchez, Mary Hernandez, Isabel “Chavela” Escobar, Sally S. Calderon, and Abraham R. Sanchez, Sr. Angie is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jesse C. Alonzo Sr. and five children, Jesse Alonzo Jr., Joseph R. Alonzo Sr. and wife Victoria M. Falcon-Alonzo, Audrey Alonzo, Christina Avalos and husband, Anthony Avalos and Michael A. Alonzo Sr. She also leaves 13 grandchildren Ryan Maltos, Steven M. Alonzo, Jesse Alonzo III, Joseph R. Alonzo Jr. and wife Lizette Alozno , Joshua Alonzo and wife Christina Alonzo , Victoria A. Alonzo, Addysen Alavos, Jordan Avalos, Cameron Avalos, Brittany Valero and husband Sabastien Valero, Michael Alonzo, Jr., Anthony Alonzo preceded in death, Angelina Vasquez; 9 great-grandchildren Mason Maltos, Allison Alonzo, Aubrey S. Alonzo, Bellinger J. Alonzo, *baby Alonzo, Josiah Valero, Roman Valero, Cypress Valero, Zeniyah Alonzo. Jesse and Angie were high school sweethearts. They married on July 7, 1967. They were inseparable for 52 years. Everyone saw them together on their evening routine of having coffee at McDonald’s in Wal-Mart. Their marriage was founded on the love for each other and relationship they had with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Angie and Jesse were both baptized in the name of Jesus according to Acts 2:38. Together they served Jesus wholeheartedly and instilled the principals of loving Jesus to their children and grandchildren. Everyone who would visit Angie would often find the two of them in the kitchen listening to hymns worshiping Jesus in song as she prepared meals. They enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking their coffee watching the sunset. They were always holding hands wherever they would go. They would end their night with “I love you, mom,” “I love you too dad.” Angie had so much love to give and was loved and respected in return, she often took the place of a second mom to many. One of Angie’s greatest joys was to know that her children are serving the Lord. Angie truly believed in the gospel of Jesus Christ and that his was is the only way. One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism. Angie went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2019. “As God gave me the grace, I ran the good race, I will see my savior face to face.” Family and friends are invited to a Visitation which will be held at Tabernacle of Praise Church in Sanger on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sanger District Cemetery.
