Anna May Lee

Anna May Lee was born to Jack Lee and Vivian Bounds on May 4, 1947 in Centerville, California and passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024 in Clovis, California at the age of 77. A remarkable mother, grandmother and great grandmother who lived life on her own terms and to the fullest. She was a force of nature, embracing each day with a spirit of adventure and a twinkle in her eye. Her wild and crazy days were filled with laughter and unforgettable moments, and she made sure to savor every bit of it with joy and gusto. Despite her adventurous spirit, she had a heart of gold and a deep well of love for her children and grandchildren. She opened her arms and her home to so many, always ready to offer a listening ear, a helping hand, and a warm hug. Her caring nature touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her, and her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us all. She dedicated her life to her family, always putting their needs above her own and finding joy in being there for each and every one of them. Her love knew no bounds, and her selflessness was a shining example for us all to follow. Her family was her world, and she lived every moment for them, nurturing and cherishing them with all her heart. We know you are at peace but we want to assure you, your love and light will never be forgotten. Our family is thankful for the love and care that was given by her care provider, Laura Wakelee. Your kindness towards our mom will forever be remembered. Anna is preceded in death by her partner Juan "Huero" Villalobos who genuinely love and cared for her as she needed more help in her later years. He was a very special friend to the family and he is truly missed. He passed away in 2018. She was also preceded in death by a son, Joe Anthony Montano in October of 2017. Anna was the loving mother to Richard Lee Montano, Javier Lee Lopez and Leanna Lyn Lopez; the grandmother to Andrea Montano, Quetzani Montano, Chloe Montano, Little Richard Montano, Joshua Montano, Rudy Lopez, Ravyn Reyna Lopez, Reo Lopez, Adam Paniagua and Josie Paniagua; she was also the beloved great grandmother to Emily Alanis and Aresen Rodriguez. Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Light Funeral Home on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A celebration of life service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel. A procession will begin at Chapel of the Light Funeral Home on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. and make our way to Anna's final resting place at North Fork Cemetery in North Fork. A committal service will begin at 12:00 p.m.
