Benjamin Acurato Villas was born on June 15, 1949 in the Philippines to Pablo and Juanita (Acurato) Villas. Ben passed away on July 20, 2020 at 6:30 a.m. surrounded by his loving family. Ben was a handsome and very loving family man. He was a tremendously hard worker. A proud American and Patriot. He worked as professional certified welder/ironworker and Farming businessman. He also was a great Man of God. Ben, his wife Christy and family founded the Holy Cross Ministries in Fresno, CA. They have worked for many years to bring Christian Family Values, Faith, Love and Hope too numerous amounts of people around the world. Sharing the Love of God was His way of life. Living through actions. Benjamin was a true example of the best way to live life as a Catholic Christian father, husband,friend and all around gracious family man. Well known and loved by many in his community and the world moreover. He lived with great compassion and move with awesomeness. He always listened to and followed his heart. Ben was man of ambition, dreams and goals. A true fighter and champion of the world. A life of survival, unexplainable miracles and unbelievable events he had experienced. His life would have made a great book and movie. He was a leader and a Superman to all who knew and loved him. His wisdom and spirit was always so special. Ben is a blessing of a man. He always gave his all and more, a 110%. No quitting was in his veins. He loved his church , to travel, watch sports, cooking, welding, farming, horse racing and so much more. A Renaissance man he was. He was an absolute pleasure to be around. He was gifted with a beautiful and charismatic demeanor. A lovely man. His smile was one of kind. Ben just absolutely enjoyed and loved being a Dad and Husband. A man of true commitment, loyalty and dedication to God, Country and Family. A legend and hero to so many people he has encountered. Although he experienced unimaginable pain, suffering and challenges through his lifetime he stayed strong, tough and motivated with unbreakable determination and belief. The perfect example of a Godly human being. Fighting the good fight no matter what happens. He was so blessed with a Braveheart. A wonderful man filled with courage and excitement. A blessed life. A suffering saint. May God hold Ben in is arms forever in Heaven. DaddyBen , PapaBen, Uncle Ben and bestfriend, brother Ben will be forever missed. Know that Benjamin Acurato Villas loves you more! The only love they have ever known. I will always love you and miss you Dad! He is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Nestor, Nerly, Nelson and Pancho. Ben is survived by his wife Christy; his son Benjamin Villas Jr., and his daughter Jennifer Perez and her husband John. He also leaves behind his siblings, Rusty, Leah, Nanette, Norman, Celia and Noemi. Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Light Funeral Home on Monday, July 27, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A vigil service will held at 7:00 p.m. An outdoor funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. (Please bring your own chair for seating). A private family committal will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery. NOTE: Due to CoVid restrictions, please contact the family for attendance requirements. Furthermore, if you will be attending any event, MASKS ARE REQUIRED for entrance.
