Dolores F. Sierra of Fresno, Ca passed away at Saint Agnes Hospital with her husband Rudolph and daughter Anne by her side on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Dolores was born to Francisco and Dolores Flores on May 31st in Madera, Ca. The family resided in Fresno. Dolores was a devout Catholic throughout her life. Dolores met the love of her life Rudolph M. Sierra, at Saint Johns Cathedral. Rudolph and Dolores were married in 1963 and have been happily married for 55 years. Dolores was a beloved devoted wife, a loving mother, caring grandmother, proud great-grandmother and dear sister and friend! She deeply loved and cherished her family and said "It was most fun watching my children and grandchildren grow. It went by so fast". Dolores loved spending time with her family for holidays, party's, family dinners, and picnics. She also enjoyed visiting with the Sisters at Sisters Of Disciples Of The Divine Master Convent. She had a sense of humor and vibrant spirit. She fought and beat several types of Cancer for many years. Doctors say she was a living Miracle. Dolores was known for her love of family, compassion for others, eagerness to help others, and for her strong faith and devotion to Christ. She will be remembered for her strength, courage, selflessness, and extreme faith in Our Lord Jesus. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Tony, Albert, Felix, and Frank. She is survived by her husband Rudolph Sierra, daughters Anne Reyes and Juliette Sierra, and son Rudy Sierra Jr., grandchildren Britney Freeman, Nicholas Sierra, Andrea Laurent, Christina Sheffield, Ricky Reyes, and Michelle Sierra, as well as their families, great grandchildren Dominickk Sierra, Cullen Freeman, and Emery Freeman, sisters Angie Medina, Lupe Gonzales, and Carmen Caldwell. Dolores is greatly missed and will forever be remembered. Services for Dolores Sierra is as follows; Rosary will be on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 5 pm at Chapel of the Light Funeral Home 1620 W. Belmont Fresno, Ca 93728. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:30am at Saint Johns Cathedral 2814 Mariposa St. Fresno, Ca 93721. Interment to follow at Saint Peter's Cemetery, 264 N. Blyth Ave. Fresno 93706.
