In Loving Memory of Judy Zavala January 3, 1974 – May 31, 2026 It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Judy Zavala, who entered into the presence of our Heavenly Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the age of 52. Born on January 3, 1974, Judy was a proud Fresno native whose vibrant spirit, fearless personality, and unwavering love for her family left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. A devoted believer, Judy’s faith carried her through life’s joys and challenges, and she never hesitated to offer encouragement and support to those around her. Above all else, Judy’s greatest treasure was her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to her children, Sandra, Gladys, Breanna, and Christian; a cherished mother-in-law to Eric and Joanna; and a proud grandmother to Seth, Noah, and Gio. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with them and celebrating their accomplishments. Judy was also a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is lovingly survived by her parents, Candelario Zavala and Antonia Zavala; her sister, Veronica Gutierrez; her brother-in-law, Steve Gutierrez; her brother, Jesus Zavala; her nieces, Vanessa and Victoria; her nephew (mijo), Steven; and her goddaughter, Esmeralda, all of whom she loved dearly. Judy was known for her unmistakable laugh, fearless attitude, and larger-than-life personality. She was loud in the best way, full of life, full of love, and never afraid to speak her mind. Her quick wit, sense of humor, and ability to make people laugh could brighten even the darkest room. Judy also shared a passion for shopping adventures. She enjoyed spending hours exploring local markets and shops, searching for all things colorful and beautiful. She loved photography, hair, makeup, and expressing herself through the bright colors that reflected the joy and spirit she carried within. She possessed a special talent for doing hair, had a remarkable ability to negotiate almost anything, and was known for being incredibly knowledgeable and resourceful. More importantly, Judy was the kind of friend who showed up. Whether someone needed advice, support, a listening ear, or simply someone to stand beside them during a difficult season, Judy was there. Her loyalty was unwavering, and her love for others was evident in the countless lives she touched. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, Judy’s legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, nieces, nephew, extended family, friends, and all who were blessed by her laughter, strength, and love.
